But do not doubt the fatality of this coronavirus; in the last month, it’s killed more people than influenza killed over several months. And that’s across all age groups, more or less in certain sections of the population, just like the flu, but still. A different approach is going to be taken, whether initiated by Fauci , other health experts, or middle America itself. The result will be new rules for attending sporting events like football games, and admitting only those not considered vulnerable to the effects of the virus. Central League Principal are now looking to push back the start of all fall sports to October 1 and still League only schedule.

“I was kind of surprised this morning when I saw one story about Dr. Fauci where he said that now he doesn’t—he thinks some sports might not play till next year, but last week on the YES network, he said that—quite the opposite. Not surprisingly, Fauci’s sports forecast was met with some shock from people around the athletic world. Purchasing tickets for games became out of the question. Perhaps we need to take an honest look at the mutations and absence of protections and shut it all down.

The only point that made any sense about the lock down was to prevent the hospitals from getting overwhelmed with ICU patients and to gather statistical data on this relatively unknown disease. The hospitals are not overwhelmed right now, even in NYC. And we know for a fact that healthy people under 65 have very little risk of dying from this disease. So it’s time to let us come out of our homes and get back to living our lives. Even if we think we have gotten rid of the virus in America, someone will bring it back with them after they went to wherever on vacation. And then we are back to testing 350 million people, every 5 days.

While many voters have stuck with Wolf, the recommendation to hold off on high school sports could weaken his support, said Christopher Borick, a political analyst at Muhlenberg College. “This is yet another example of the governor giving his recommendation but not allowing himself to be held accountable,” Ecker said in a statement. State Rep. Rob Kauffman, a Franklin County Republican, said the governor’s recommendation potentially crushes the dreams of families across Pennsylvania.
